Promoting British Values
The government has defined British Values as democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs. We promote these values through our own school values, curriculum and enrichment activities.
Our Worship/assembly programme revolves around our school values of Courage, Truthfulness, Friendship, Trust Compassion, Love, Forgiveness, Humility, Creativity, Hope, Thankfulness, Generosity, Respect, Responsibility, Wisdom, Perseverance, Service, Justice and Peace which have strong links with British Values but we also have weeks in the programme that promote the British Values more specifically and discretely.
